About

I am a writer and poet walking between many worlds. Loving wild open spaces, ancient sites, photography, poetry, art and folklore. I write upon many themes from the fringe of life. The occult, folklore, folk horror, witchcraft, psychogeography, the paranormal, hauntology and folk-magic often feature in my work alongside a fascination of the genius loci, that elusive, animistic and polytheistic spirit of place.

I love exploring the mysterious, secret and often haunted landscapes of the British Isles. I live on the western edge of Bodmin Moor, the granite highlands of the ancient and remote Celtic land of Cornwall. Therefore, much of what I write about features Cornwall, and her folklore, customs and legends, which are deeply imbued in the landscapes and culture of the rugged peninsula.
